Host Agencies:
* Host agencies are volunteers who train Title V enrollees
free of charge. Under no circumstances is the Host Agency supervisor obligated to retain an enrollee. The Host Agency has
the authority to choose to discontinue this service at any time. The Host Agency supervisor, as a volunteer, does not need
the approval or disapproval of Council on Aging's Subproject Director (the authority over the job training program)
or the Title V Coordinator, or the enrollee.
The Title V program is not a job. It is
a temporary JOB-TRAINING PROGRAM. The Subproject Director can have Title V enrollees moved to another Host Agency or terminated
(after sufficient training), as deemed necessary.
Note:
If an enrollee is terminated (for any
reason) they do not qualify for unemployment benefits.
